L.E.A.D. series: Leadership Development

Practice: Teaching & Training

With over fifteen years of direct classroom experience (live, online, and hybrid) and two decades of faculty development, I began my journey as the Online Course Director for The Center for Legal Studies (2000-2010).
I appreciate the adult learning, Higher Education, and EdTech experience that this foundational position provided, as I supported faculty, reviewed faculty evaluations, communicated with 400+ contracted universities, helped design and develop curriculum, managed LMS and the server, and led "all things online".
As an educator and lifelong learner, I have taught for Montana State University, MSU College of Technology, University of Denver, and Montana State Women’s Prison. I've taught various disciplines ranging from web and media, graphics and coding, EdTech Integration, to Project Management.
I have trained faculty development and State partnered trainings, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Accessibility, leadership development, coaching, State of Colorado policy and legislative rule, and Salesforce upskilling.
Courses that I have taught or currently teaching: Project Management, Tech Essentials, Web Fundamentals, and Advanced Web. I currently serve as an internship advisor for graduate students working in the tech field.
As a contracted adjunct, I am able to choose which courses I teach and how often, including choice of formats (on-campus evenings, online, or hybrid).
